I thought a lot about the tires I chose. I love the looks of the mud tires and I considered both the new Goodyear MTS and the BF Goodrich MT. However, I plan on visiting my mom in snow country and want a tire that will handle okay in the snow. No one I talked to could recommend the MT's for snow driving. So it was down to the 'all terrain' tires. The one I liked best was the BFG AT ko. Although the wider tires are better for off-road, the narrower ones are better in the rain and snow. Also, with the wider tires (12.5) I would need to get wider fenders and I'm about tired of spending money...
Through a small mistake, I got to see my jeep with the 33 x 12.5 AT's and I do prefer the look of the 10.5 tires. This was fortuitous because I might have wanted the larger tires later... now I know I don't.
